Micro Combined Unit
Micro Combined Unit
The BU-S unit is a compact and economical solution for the preliminary treatment of small wastewater flows. It integrates three essential functions in a single body: screening, grit removal, and grease/oil separation.
Working Principle:
Wastewater enters the unit and first passes through a screw screen, made with either perforated plate or wedge wire. This screen retains the coarse solids, which are then lifted, compacted, and dewatered by the screw conveyor.
The pre-screened water then flows into the sedimentation tank, which is designed with special internal baffles to ensure high sedimentation efficiency within a very limited space. The flow is directed in a controlled way to enhance grit settling.
Collected grit accumulates at the bottom of the tank and is removed via an inclined screw conveyor.
Available Configurations:
CBUS – 3: Full treatment (screening + grit + grease/oil removal), includes a special system for floating matter (FOG) removal and can be equipped with an air blower for improved separation.
CBUS – 2: Screening and grit removal only.
Construction Materials:
The unit is made entirely of stainless steel AISI 304 or 316.
The screw conveyor can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, or a combination of both, depending on project requirements.
Main Advantages:
High efficiency in a compact design
Simple operation and installation
Minimal maintenance required
Integrated solution reduces civil works
Control Panel:
The unit can be supplied with an electrical control panel or PLC system on request.
